Sometimes your the windshield....

Our brains have remained unchanged for the past 20,000 years. When our current brain came about, we lived in communities or tribes with about 50 - 100 people. In this setting everyone knew and cared about each other, everyone also had a role in the life cycle of the community. In todays society, even in small cities we see and interact with thousands of people and know none of them. Not knowing leads real easily into not caring about them as well. I will say this about us humans, when a disaster strikes we pull together and raise huge chunks of money to help the needy, I will also say this.....People profit off of this money, or in some contries just take it, very little gets to the common man. Do you suppose that at some point in our history 1 individual made a decision and set in action our current state of affairs. Who is this person and how far back do we have to go to find him, I bet Cro-Magnum new him and consequently got fed to the fishes.
Worked with the Band Danger Muffin last night, awsome band even though their name both intrigued and frightened me a little bit. Funky americana with songwriting talent out the ass, great people as well.
